Description
Medium: Pen and ink (Yay again!)Here we have a more simplistic rendering. This was very much affected by the style of Dave McKean who illustrated the book, Coraline! Of course, my perfectionism prevented me from getting too free with the style. It was rather fun to purposefully apply chaotic detail, though!

Your ink work constantly amazes me! This was a fantastic style for you to choose as well- looks like you had a lot of fun with the constantly shifting hatches (Can't think of a better way to put them at the moment). :3

Yup, it was very fun! It was a nice break from my usual perfectionist methods. Although, I did end up making plenty of adjustments at the end to help it look right. Oh well!

I really dig how you did that balloon! I was staring at it for a good 10 minutes just admiring the pen strokes
The cat also came out pretty awesome, it reminds me of the classic Whinnie-the-Pooh stories...though that can be because I have yet had the chance to read Coraline ^_~

Did I just misspell "obsessed?"

Noooooooo! Piglet, come back! Piglet, it's still a nice present for Eeyore even though it's popped! Don't cry, Piglet!
Sorry, yeas ago, my sister collected all the Winnie-the-Pooh books and videos, and we all got a little obssessed. Sort of disturbing, actually. There are worse crazes, though!
I'm happy you liked the chaotic line-work! I was actually tweaking it for a while. So much for letting loose!
I would definitely recommend Coraline! It's short, sweet and quite entertaining!
