Well, what can I say? It's a picture of clouds. I just wanted to see if it was possibe to draw clouds in sketchy ink. I was planning on doing a landscape beneath, hence the line below.
If anything, this was more of a lighting exercise. I was asked to draw a picture representing Heaven and, while I was going to avoid the stereotypical cloudy scenery, I knew that lighting was going to be a key factor. So, I started trying to sketch a rather large view of the sky with the sun shining through an expanse of clouds. The challenge was bringing out the effect without color and without the easy shading of graphite.

I never finished it, though. After all, it's only practice. I'll get the rest in some day though!

And yes, I will finish a sketch representing Heaven...eventually.
