Romania's 'newest' tank int he Alternate history 1946 RP im in, I rarely post these thigns but this one just came out so well. And yes it is essentially an improved copy of the Russian T-34/85.Related content

Wow. A T-34/85 modernization, you say? That's one hell of an Extreme Makeover / Pimp My Tank!!
The turret I can easily picture as a modernization, but the hull is (at least from this angle) NOTHING like the T-34. The tracks, roadwheels and (the element missing from the T-34) the return rollers are new .
Does Romania have a moderately thriving economy in your story, 'cause this overhaul is about as expensive as making a new tank from scratch.
Then again the Israelis still used Shermans in the 6 day war... So it can't possibly be a wasted effort.

Of course it's a copy of the russian one. I mean, sheesh, everyone can tell just by glimpsing at it. I noticed even before going full-view, of course.
