Finally, the male anatomy counterpart to the ladies tutorial from a month or two ago
I decided not to address the male genitalia this time around... one reason being cuz I don't think they are drawn as often as the female parts, and secondly because I suck at them XD I won't link directly but if you click here you can find a separate link to another tutorial that I found interesting on a non-DA art site.
Oh yeah, sorry the colors are hellla ugly. I was feeling uninspired.

I never paid much attention to Hugh Jackman, or really, celebs in general, until I saw The Fountain last week. |D;; Such a weird movie, but I realized how hot he is. And then Kmart had tabloids calling him the SEXIEST MAN ALIVE and I was like, "WOO! One of those I actually agree with!"

Did you see 'Australia' already or is this Hugh Jackman thing ongoing? The movie was kinda hella long, but Hugh Jackman: hot damn.

Haha, Wolverine is the first role I can actually remember seeing him in and I was hooked from there. xD If you have something like three hours to spare, Australia is a good movie. Not the best movie, but come on, who's actually going to go see it for the story?

Maybe one day! I tend to only do tuts on stuff that I feel really confident in, and I'm not so sure that hair is one of those subjects... but hey, maybe in the future, once I've had more practice X3

This is actually a really solid dudes-tutorial! I'm impressed...of course, I know you rock the man-art...but it seems like it's a pretty tried and true cliche: guys suck at drawing girls and girls suck at drawing guys. I'd say, as a guy, this is pretty fair! And MEGA props on including body-hair in your tutorial...OMG. SO many DA-dudes need some serious chest hair

Aw thanks <3 <3 Is that really the case? I always thought it was the opposite, since girls tend to draw guys a lot and guys tend to draw girls... Honestly I had a lot of problems differentiating girls and guys when I was younger (three years ago, lol), it took a lot of work to drag myself out of that anime-"inspired" abyss, arg.
Also it took me foreverrr to work out how beards look in a more cartoony style, but now I love drawing them too! Either as full giant masses or with individual hairs demarcated... yay for diversity.
Dunno why you need to be looking at this stuff, since you could probably out-draw me any day but thanks anyhow XD

I suppose it depends on the guy/girl really. I was always afraid at a young age to draw girls because as soon as I got to a boob I thought I'd get in trouble
Feminine faces are the hardest for me. When you spend your formative years drawing "angry-biomechanized-soldier-with-flame-sword-of-shadow-resist-plus-5" again and again, you tend to lack an ability to cope with softness and subtlety
It's kind of hilarious, but if you grew up on american comics vs anime comics you probably had NO problem distinguishing between girls and guys (except when the artist, like me, had no idea how not-to-overmuscle-and-butch-up-his-ladies) Dudes were the ones with rippling pectorals and prominent chins and girls were the ones who were mostly naked. ick.
O, and I'm reading this because I could stand to pick up a few tips AND your commentary is funny as crap
