Description

A further example of my shading, this time on a very, very bright chestnut! Poor GV All She Wrote  has really been needing an overhaul.

If you use this as a guide when you shade, let me see how it turns out, I'd love to see some results!

Reminder: One of the most important things I've learned with this is to be patient. Speed will come with time. This didn't take me very long, and I could have done it better, but I've done it so often it comes easier to me than it used to. So, speed comes with practice. There's no hurry here.

They are! I've been wanting to try out a more realistic shading for a while, but it always felt... intimidating? But your breakdown is super nice and helpful!

I absolutely remember that feeling well. It's not as scary as it seems like it will be, and if these help anyone feel less intimidated by shading, I'm more than happy to put them out there!
