ok... Well, give it a try - (well you'll have to try the first one first, and then this one... ) mostly I need to know if you can do this while following along with what I'm showing... or if at some point I've missed telling or showing something that would be needed..

Nah... not you...
On the subject though - go thru the first one ... I know your new to Blender - so the whole layout is like running barefoot through broken glass... so Your the one that will tell me if my tutorial is a success or not..

The layout of Blender is a lot different than you would expect, and clicking some things will totally change what is available to select next... so clicking the wrong thing can send you on a journey trying to work out how to get back to where you came from...

Don't fear- that is why I'm doing the tutorials (hopefully in plain English) and with as many screenshots as possible included (the Blender Render Tutorial used 45 screenshots each of which had to be scaled from 1600x1200 to 800x600 in order to be used on the tutorial... )
I will make more tutorials soon - all of them will start with basics, but some are going to get very complex.... for example I'm going to make a new seat - (think of the ones in 'control room b revised' and I'm going to show how to get the cushions to look like cushions, using various methods of selections and moving of vertices, advanced UV Mapping - no longer just dumping color into the nice lines - but truly painting a texture map with 'scuff' and fading...)

An office chair --- I'm going to do a tutorial on creating an office chair that looks 'a bit worn' as most office chairs don't look new very long.
