*Phew* It feels good to draw something again! It's been a little while, but perhaps Angy's print hanging on my wall has re-inspired me!
Anyway, this is Shizune, she's a new OC and, as you may have guessed, she's an engineer! An engineer for/on what you ask? Spaceships! Du'h!
She's an engineer on the USG Ishiwatari (Lol, referencing both Dead Space, AND Daisuke Ishiwatari... BAZINGA!
), but things don't exactly go according to plan, as is usual in Shizune's life... TT^TTYeah, she's a very unlucky gal... I wanna give er' a hug...
A lot of her equipment is inspired from other sci-fi stuff, her jump-suit reminds me of a Fallout Vault Suit, her engineering glove is a cross between the Dead Space interface glove thingy, a Pip-boy, and a Power-Fist, both from Fallout! Her pistol is actually a long-range Rivet-gun, it makes little sense, but me'h, it also has a Laser-cutter mounted underneath, how Dead Space! Oh, and she has shoulder/back mounted boost-packs, for when she's working in Zero-G....
(Please note she is NOT a Dead-Space, or Fallout OC... Though either one would be awesome.
)I like her design, she looks like she desperately needs a hug (And she does to).... Mission accomplished!

Hahaha, Maybe I should draw her fighting Necromorphs, or having visions of The Marker or something! I do have a story for her, it's a bit like Dead Space in a sense...

Um...Now that I think about it. Wasnt the ship in dead space called the IshiMURA...? I like how you said she's not an OC for the two games 'cause it totally looks that way bro XD
I like it though, love that kind of solemn/sad look she has, kinda fits with the outfit XD

Yes it is the USG Ishimura, however changing the Mura to Watari allowed for both a double reference, and to show that she's not a Dead-Space OC, heheh, I'm messing with peoples perception!

Thank you very much! Her suit/equipment is inspired largely by other sci-fi pop-culture, I'm a massive Fallout fan, and a Dead Space fan too!
