I do this sort of thing all the time now-- I forget whole movies that I've enjoyed! You have a permanent invitation for all the coffee you can share with me!

This is beautiful. I love to see animation by skilled lineworkers. It's so expressive and personal. I would love to see more moving work of yours!

Thanks very much!
I'm trying to make time for making comix(!) in between paintings, but animation fascinates me, too-- do you ever mess around with either of those forms?

yup! comix are my main focus. animation is more of a hobby for me, i don't really have the equipment to do it, unfortunately.

This is so cool!! I have no idea how the animation is done, but it's such an awesome effect

Thanks very much! I just drew each small movement separately, by hand-- the most primitive animation imaginable!

Haha that's probably exactly what I'd do too if I was trying to figure it out. It's really amazing, I love how it morphs.

This is made of unadulterated bad-arsery! I swear I've seen this and more than that I'm so sure I've left a comment
Highly perceptive transition, Sam! The flow is for lack of a better word, impeccable, especially as each step is so subtly done while retaining a powerful note... the weight adding on to the trousers, for example, is simply genius

This one's kind of a TRICK question-- I'd uploaded it into my Revolving Door ID, and you'd commented on it on my homepage...

For some reason it reminds me of Zapiro, a South African cartoonist. [link]
