OMG my first TUTORIAL!
haha since my last poll, majority wanted a coloring tutorial..so here it is!
I'm so sorry if there are things that are unclear to you, I'm not really good at explaining things, most especially explaining how I color my works at all.
I use my commission work for AnimeCakie as an example.

but, i have to ask you a question. i read someone already ask, but i didn't understand... how could i create a mask layer? O_o i can't manage to create it... it just apperas like 'locked' to the main layer... and i can't create it on the background, only on the lineart layer... can you please help me? T^T

ok i did it.
but now i'v another problem...
sorry but i usually work with gimp and i don't really know how to use ps >.<
but now. i disn't put the layer mask in the beginning. now the result is that i don't know how to use it well
if i create a mask on the skin layer, for shading, it just erases all the skin color! and i don't now how to make it work...

cool... coz i really have problems making the artwork sparkly... And I honestly can't understand what's in the tutorial.. The font size is too small to read.. TT^TT

CEU is sorta basically more on science and such. Nursing, HRM, that's one of the courses they offer, but I know a lot more.

well if you mean the white glare/highlights, it should be on a separate layer to work.
Right click on it and select "Blending options." You should see there a check box that says "Outer glow". Click there and you can choose a different lighter color that is close to the base color of the eyes. The bars "Size" and "Spread" should be increased slightly.
