I agree that your head looks cooler than the way you started before, but I think that a lot of artists (myself included) started with the "ball and chin" aproach. Then, after drawing countless heads, you kinda don't need it anymore. So, in my humble opinion, it's not a "snore-head" (Haha! ^_^) , but a building block. Love what you're doing, though. Keep it up.

I started doing the whole cone stuff as well and I hated everytime I did do it. So skipping onto other ways was so much better in the long run. But to each is own ya know

Ahem....I was hoping you'd do a head shot tut. I have so much trouble when it come's to drawing heads from anything other then a pose in which they are looking right.

That's why it's important to sketch... Okay, if you exercise for a small amount of time, eat right and get plenty of rest, your body will grow more muscular and toned. It's the same way with sketching. The only difference is your memory is what's getting toned as you learn all these poses and where to throw those lines. Train of thought is the key

That really helped me with drawing "from below" a character. Whenever I try to do it....the character looks like they have triple chins. lol
