ohhh I got the student package edition for around ...$300? @_@ But that came with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects and a lot of other things!

This is awesome! I've just started using flash, and the only animation tutorials I could find must have been for older versions of flash, because I could not find most of the tools/settings they talked about. But this one makes perfect sense and covers a lot of things I had questions about. Thank you so much!

something in your tutorial that I had to voice out

Easing

-100: Acceleration, Slow to fast
+100: Deceleration, Fast to slow.

always start the ease with -100 and end with +100 on the most common movement, since physics applies that an object has to start its motion from slow to fast and end its motion from fast to slow, unless circumstances requires the subject to start off at a immediate fast speed.


utilizing the pencil tool in doing the shades instead of paint brush.

a more precise way to do shading, instead of using paint brush, is to use the pencil tool to draw the shading lines. even bonus is that u can smoothen the lines easier and get really nice shade curves. the best part is that the lines are easily removable by drawing the same line thickness over them, double click to select all the lines and deleting them out
