"London Midland and Scottish Railway Princess Royal Class, Number Six Two One One... Queen Maud." Gordon began, stutteringly. Maud listened closely as Gordon began. She could hear him begin to choke up as the words came from his mouth. "Will...will you...will you...will you marry me?" He asked as tears began to roll down his cheeks. Maud, moved by this display of affection, began to well up and there was a silence between the two big engines."Of course! Of course I would! There's nothing I would want more!" She sobbed joyfully. "I love you, Gordon! I love you so much! I love you..." She sniffed "...with everything that I am, and I wouldn't rather spend my life with anyone else than you!" Then the two engines pressed their lips tightly together in the evening sun as tears of joy cascaded down Gordon's cheeks as well. It had begun. For the first time ever, two of Sir Topham Hatt's engines were going to have a wedding!
To be completely honest, it was awfully dusty in my dorm while I wrote this scene if you get where I'm coming from.
