Well, the second part of my PS basics tutorial.
Here again some useful hints:
I work with PS CS3 now, and a Wacom tablet in A5.

Here are some more useful stuff, Keyboard shortcuts:
B: brush
V: move tool
R: Smudge/Sharpen/Blur tool
G: Paintbucket/Gradient tool
T: Type tool
L: Lasso tool
W: Magic wand tool
Using the eyedroper (colorpicker) while using the brush tool: Alt (while using the brushtool)
Ctrl + Z: Undo
Ctrl + Alt +Z: Undo several times

Use shift/alt/ctrl for additional options while using any tool.

And as promised in the tutorial, some good links to some gradient shading tutorials, so I don't need to make one on my own. X'D

Good one, with lineart and gradient shading: [link]

Tut as a flash: [link]

Softgradientshading (not bad either): [link]

Most ridiculous funny gradient shading tut, part 1 (it's pretty good, it's similar to how I work): [link]
and part 2: [link]

Another good one. Part 1: [link]
Part 2: [link]

I think that's all you need to know to use gradient shading.

Enjoy folks, and don't hesitate to ask if you have more questions.

Thank you!

I've always been a "draw in the highlights and shadows" and it gets tedious. I forget PS has wonderful easier ways to do things

I'm looking for the clipping mask in the short cut menu now but where can I find it? Layer? Image.. I only found the normal "mask".. :/

It's under Layer. YOu have to scroll down much to find it. It's "Create/Release Clipping mask"
