awesome! I used the end of a matchstick when I made waffles, but this way looks like it would come out much cleaner looking! ^-^

Which brand of glaze did you use? I'm not able to find a shiny glossy glaze!
I used to use the Eberhard Faber (Fimo brand) one but now it's out of commerce and the new one only give the clay a barely shiny effect (just like the studio sculpey satin) and I don't like it!
But yours seems glossy.. What is it?

Aaaah glad you asked, you gave me that little push I needed to find my glaze can which I lost a couple of months ago.
Lots of people recomend Varathane, a water-based wood glaze. I couldn't find it so I bought Polycrylic Minwax, which I've found is pretty much the same... that's the glaze I used in the waffles. It's a 1 liter can available in most hardware stores. I bought mine in home depot.
However! I've since then moved to Decoart's Triple Thick, and it's amazing! I love it, it's much better than Polycrylic. With Polycrylic I had to paint two or three layers, but I can get more shine and durability with only 1 layer of Triple Thick. Also, Triple Thick is more durable in pieces that are worn, like necklaces.
However I continue to use Polycrylic in delicate pieces that can loose detail with a thick layer of glaze.

huh.. well I live in Italy and I've never heard of any of those products! haha
Thank you so much for your detailed answer though!
Anyway, few days ago I bought from ebay the sculpey studio glossy glaze.. And I'm loving it!

Don't worry I live in Mexico, and if I could find something here, you can find it anywhere in the world!
I heard Sculpey's glaze is great, but a bit expensive Try looking for the things I told you in hardware or art stores before you run out of Sculpey's glaze, they're really good
