Description
I have been working on an infantry support mecha!This mecha is designed with the following aspects in mind:
• All terrain quadruped (goes anywhere the troops can)
• Smaller than a car
• Energy Generation/charging station
• Water Generation/Purification
• Storage/carrying for supplies/equip/ammo etc
• Weapons platform (2 heavy gattling cannons + 2 missile launchers)
• Advanced sensor/communication array
• Flare launcher
• Towing equipment
• Smoke launchers

this is great!!! i easily picture this thing in the front lines providing support for troopers while the big guns tear up everything else. love the way u incorporated the different aspects that some would have when designing a military machine.

Wow, very nice practical design. I like the idea of a mobile support station, the armies of the future will have to start using more mobile/mecha styled equipment in orderto compeat. +fav

Thanks, that means alot from someone as skilled as yourself. Its a 3D model that i have been playing with, and thought it looked cool as a 2D concept. But its definitely a model!

Very nice, low-profile. Looks like it'll be very effective in an urban environment as infantry fire support.
Btw, it's a common mistake, but 'gatling' has only one 't'. Also, where's the gatling's ammunition stored?

I see, this is a very unique mecha, very ingineous, thought the level of details in my consideration is rather medium-low I like the design and the concept of the whole mech, the design kinda reminds me of a bug, but I don't know the name. The robot looks practical, though I think It would be better if it had two smoke launchers (rather than one, for bigger escape chances, cause only one will distribute the smoke unequally).
The robot looks really great, and would be even greater with some textures.
I think it desereves a Fav because I like it ^-^

Firstly thanks for the fav! you obviously put some thought in your reply, thanks for the info on smoke launchers, i wasnt really aware of how they work in real life, maybe i should look into it to help me place them better. Yes it reminds me of a beetle too, it thought it added to its armoured appearance. Thanks

very nice. a very cool looking design i can see a couple of terains where with camoflage (paniting) it would be great. eg desert. although with the guns on front wouldnt it fall forward?

Thanks for the comment! Yes i agree it would be good to see this in camo paint. As for topling over, each of the legs is the same size as one of the guns, so that 4 legs plus its body which is huge in comparison, against just two of the guns, i think it'll be just fine!

very nice. thinking of all the details. but one things thats been ratting my brain. well 2. is it piloted bi a human or is it AI. and when u say smaller than a car. like a normal coupe? or a 4x4?
