And yes, I know his shoulders are weird in a few of them, but oh well.
Anyway, I did this as a response to an old meme called "character is..." which ended long before I found it, but there wasn't a Zuko one, so I decided to do this just for fun.
Avatar (c) and Sokka, Toph, and Zuko (c) belong to Nick and Mike and Brian. The Phantom belongs to Gaston Leroux, Susan Kay, and Andrew Lloyd Webber (but mostly Leroux, even though he died 80 years ago).

Ha. Well, I can't promise that all of it is worth reading by any means, but if you can wade through all the cliches and other insanity, there is some that's genuinely good. And if you can't avoid the drivel, well, then at least this is funnier when you're familiar with it.

In a nutshell, Agni is a Hindu fire god and due to the use of the name in the Avatar-verse in the term "Agni Kai," he is commonly held in Avatar fanfic to be the patron spirit/god of the Fire Nation, either as the Sun spirit or Fire spirit, often represented as a dragon.

Has anyone on avatar (like Mike and Bryan) actually say that Agni is the fire spirit in avatar or what, because this is really starting to annoy the hell out of me
like when a character says "Oh spirits" or something dumb like that.

Not that I know of, and I seriously doubt it (not that members of any sort of fandom are particularly known for caring about authorial authority anyway). But as strange a bit of fanon as it is, it's become so pervasive in fanfic that I've actually come to prefer references to Agni to general mentions of "spirits," especially those of the sort which you mention, which are not only stupid, but thoroughly devoid of creativity. If nothing else, at least "Agni" is culturally specific.
