Description
I did another flash tutorial. It may take a few seconds until it loaded compleatly. We all know how slow DA can be sometimes^^
It explains some parts of my coloring style including my gradient shading. Its worth having a look at it.
Pls let me know if there are some parts you dont get/arent working and if there are mistakes.
Thanks for the support!
Enjoy and thx for faving.

oh flash tutorials are great, not so loooooooong and can have larger text concentratingon special steps each site, very welldone
Iο»Ώ used to gradient shade by putting a dark layer above the color and erasing more of my lasso tool edges with the eraser on 40% or similar methos..this looks way better but i seem to do soemthing wrong. When i want to fill places with the gradient,it always covers other parts of the image i shaded before Too.. when i use the lasso tool soο»Ώ that it only goes within the area,it gives me a bright pixely edge around the selected area after placing the gradient, even if i work on an empty layer above. do you know what i do wrong?

Can you answer me a li'l question... Does it depend on which kind of pen tablet to use too?
I've tried now with one on Photoshop CS2, but it doesn't work to get the dynamics. The pencil just keeps its size and doesn't get any bigger or smaller, no matter how hard or soft I press on the tablet. 8(

The your tables probably does not support pen preassure.
Or you need to set it at the brush window.

Hmm, probably. :/ Any sort of pen tablet you maybe can recommend, please?
Have borrowed a typical tablet from my bro and it's probably not the right sort.

Yeah, and my friend said the sky should be more blue too, I'm re-editing it and will hopefully re-post an improved version.
Thanks for the mention about the grass, I'll make a note of that.

Sorry just a question, when I'm in CS5 and start colouring, (using the wand tool, with select multiple layers) when I colour, there is like these white dots between the lineart and stuff, kinda like pixels. I don't know if I've explained this well enough but do you have a solution?

thazumi In reply to Aceqt [2010-12-03 23:36:22 +0000 UTC]
I don't really know what you mean. Have you tried a higher tolerance value?
π: 0 β©: 1
Aceqt In reply to thazumi [2010-12-04 00:03:33 +0000 UTC]
Its quite hard to explain.
No I haven't tried that, what should I raise the tolerance value to?
