Description
With the release of Pokemon Black and White about a week and a half ago (and playing White nonstop) i've been wanting to draw more 5th generation Pokemon in a realistic style. So here's one I did of one of my new favorites, Archeops. I just love the design of this little guy and how he resembles the real animal archeopteryx. I decided to draw it hunting a Venipede (Don't worry, no Venipedes were harmed in the making of this drawing) which is another one of my new favorites. Whee, feathers... I notice that you did the proper, all-up asymmetrical closed pennaceous vanes (I found an article about the evolution of the feather, it kinda sunk in) as per the original, historical archeopteryx and its' flight feathers.

Oh my I'm playin too much pokemon white the last days. Stuck at the second time elite four atm, though. Just because I don't wanna use legendarys or the lvl 70 Volcarona. v.v
I'd love to see one of the new legendarys~ like Zekrom or Kyurem

This looks amazing, but Archeops is easy to draw realistic. Try something hard... Like Pants-lizard! (Scrubby)

I wasn't going by difficulty, I just wanted to draw what i wanted to draw, and I like Archeops. Honestly, all the Pokemon are rather easy to draw realistically.

Archeops is OP. Seriously 145 base attack? Yeah there is its ability to nerf it but by then it's sweeped an entire team. (I'm a hypocrite because I'm trying to get one with the right nature X3)
Archeops is awesome but Swellow (Burn orb + Facade/Brave bird) will always be my favorite.
