Enforcers ready up at the scene of a major disturbance!

The base image took about 10 hours to render at pretty high settings, taking up about 10gb of my 16gb RAM!

In the effort of trying to enhance images with postwork I altered the colours of this image pretty dramatically for this piece. The original scene used the typical “white” colour sources for the lighting so I decided to step away from this base colour and go for a more dramatic feel. As the enforcers are getting ready to deal with a disturbance that you can't see I decided that red, being a passionate / violent colour, would be best to adjust to.

I did try to incorporate some additional effects such as lens flares for the police cars lights and the background mechs “eyes” but only with limited success. Additional Bloom and Depth of Field effects added in Photoshop.
