Level: Beginner/Intermediate
This Tutorial is for those that know a little about Photoshop. I tried to make it for beginners, but some parts may be hard to understand unless you know a little about Photoshop.
Sorry I tried
This tutorial shows more of how, on the technical side, I make adoptables. It does not show much of how to draw or where to put shading.
There have been a few people who asked how I make my adoptables. SOooo instead of explaining to everyone how, I made 3 tutorials to explain how.
I hope that you enjoy them. Post here if you have any question about something that you don't understand in the tutorial. Some things I kind of went through kind of fast.
Please note that this is my frist tutorial, so I apologize if things don't make sense.
Here is where you can see the complete krawk I made through the tutorials. [link]
Do not copy the art work and post it as your own.

Well, when i use the pen tool, it doesn't make lines after i curve it. X3; It only makes the grey pixeled line. I so can't explain right.

Hmm, I'm unsure of something. I finally got the use of the Pen Tool, however, It's not making the varied thick and thin lines your work is producing. Instead, it sticks to a fine line throughout the piece. Is there something I'm missing here?

Did you try step six?? Let me know if step six did not work for you?

Yep. Followed the whole thing through three times. It's still presenting me with a line that is the same width throughout the entire image. It's not thickening or thinning as it does in your work.

what version of photoshop are you using?? when you do step six and you are at the point where you check "simulate pressure" make sure that it is a paint brush and not a pencil. The first time you do it it will automatically uses a pencil, so make sure that it is a paintbrush.

CS. It's a paintbrush, and I've put it on and off. :< This program really dislikes me -_-

Have you tried maybe resetting to factory defaults?? You make have accidentally set something from a previous tutorial. You may also want to check your brush settings. Make sure nothing is forcing it to stay the same. I would uncheck everything in the brush setting when testing. -- brush setting is found when you have the bruch selected and you go to the top right hand corner and there is a brush setting. Here is a tutorial that might help you get the right brush settings [link]

I thought that maybe it is because you don't have a tablet, but I tried it on a computer that did not have the tablet and it worked. I can't figure out what could be the problem, let me look more into it.

Wonderful tutorial. Unfortunately, I only have photoshop version 4.0, and there is no pen tool.
