Description Flabbergasted, understanding that the woman had only been teasing Gillian, all anger vanished, the two friends went to a stop.

- Eh ! Gillian called the woman, who are you ? Could we meet somewhere ?
- name's Deborah. I'd love to, but can't stop ! Ask Henry ! She replied as she was hopping away.
- Who's Henry ? Gillian asked.

But the woman was already too far away. She got no answer.

Nice change of angle... again, like watching a movie!

Once again, Deborah's pose is really good - you really get the sense of how she moves. And the distance between her and the other two women gives an idea of her speed too!

I really wanted the three of them to have a chat together. Please say that this will be a future story! It would be wonderful to listen in on Gillian and Deborah comparing their experiences and sharing tips and tricks on how they manage!

I like the way you set up another mystery with the introduction of Henry!

Yes, I often change the angle of the camera along this series. I wanted to make it appear dynamic, like, indeed, in a movie. Something I feared doing that is disorienting the watcher. So I took care to include in the field of view easily recognisabled elements of the background to help understand where the camera is and it's angle, how it moved from one picture to the next. This scenery is perfect for that: canola field and fence on one side, woods on the other. And I also used the little birch trees on the sides of the trail to give an idea on how much the characters have advanced, and so on their speed.Β

I really wanted to give a good impression of movement for Deborah, and I must say I'm quite happy with the result. I think the hair plays an important role in this (they're not dynamic, it's just a static pose of the model, but it gives a good impression).

I'm thinking about making something with the three of them but I have not found the right idea yet. All I have for now is simples scenes, like having a coffee.

I introduced Henry (and later Misaki) to make the story more interesting (yes, mystery again !). He didn't existed in the first version of the story, but without him it would have ended with the next picture, and it was definitely too short .

I meant to comment on the hair, but forgot. Deborah's hair movement is really well done in all the pictures, and really helps to sell the impression of her bouncing!

So I'm hoping Henry doesn't have any limbs and still speeds past them, shouting: 'Ask Jeff!'

Then, Jeff, who doesn't even have a pelvis, jumps past on a spring, shouting: 'Ask Courtney!'

Finally, they think it's a joke or something, but a disembodied head rolls by, stops and very politely asks: 'What did you want to know?'

What you say is completely impossible. How a head could roll by itself ? No, Courtney is just waiting on top of a post of the fence a little further on the trail... !

It would be funny but, even if I stretched a little the limits of what's possible with Deborah's way of moving, I've kept this story on the realistic side.

But I keep the idea in mind .

It's not a big spoiler, so I can tell you that Henry is an amputee ... but barely. He has to be able to take care of Deborah. And there will be just one more amputee before the end.

Thanks for this comment !

Thank you very much, I'm really glad you like this.

I think you'll be happy to know that the series is in fact not complete (only halfway).

She makes it seem easy because she's talented and experienced.

But it's not !

So Deborah can't stop hopping in blader mode? By the way,if Deborah as no any limbs as Violetta, can she hop like sackrace?

tomalee In reply to Yukyuuzan911 [2018-02-11 16:51:49 +0000 UTC]

No, she can't stop hopping. A single flexible blade and no arms for balance ... extremely unstable !

Deborah has almost no limb. She has a left leg stump without which she could not use this prothesis.

Violetta (Aloisia Wagner) had no limbs at all and could indeed hop like you say. Deborah cannot. But she can kind of walk, like Gillian here .

Susan could hop like Violetta, but she will not appear in this story.
