A Gutless is a Gutless is a Gutless. Speaking of which, the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola has a -3 model on display.

one of the very few that still exist. many were abused as mechanic training airframes until they were scrapped.

I enjoy setting up a Double Domination on the map Seppuku Gorge with a 60 minute time-limit, and no max score, then I go out and kick ass.
I'm also waiting for ODST. A couple days ago I saw the best freaking Halo commercial ever about 3/4's of the way through a program about European naval aircraft on the Military Channel.

it,s actually a vacformed RarePlanes kit i modified to look like one of the very early F7U-1s that performed with the Blue Angels during the 1952 show season. Fujimi{Japan} makes a 3-kit family of the Cutlass in 1/72 scale.a bit pricey, but superb quality kits.

I built a resin FH-1 for a local museum and it came with vacform canopies. Good thing they give you two of them. In spite of the fit problems and scratch building I had to do, the canopy was the worst part for me.

sometimes i have NO CHOICE. a vac may be the only way to get a certain subject aircraft for a collection,or sometimes a fave plane in a larger scale as well. some are actually not bad at all,it depends on the moldmaker.

Dynavector makes some very nice kits of postWW2 British stuff, and a Douglas SkyShark, all 1/48. a bit pricey, but par excellence. and nothing to fight with, all very well designed, with superb white-metal small parts. nothing left to chance.
