Description 3 vital commodities no serious modeller,s workshop should be without.........! The Insanity Continues......just a little gag-shot taken a while ago following the Great Deluge/Perfect Storm in April,2007 before i totally reorganized and rebuilt Thy Dungeon after my basement was flooded! never again,at least i hope not, after over $25,000.00 in waterproofing work........my Da friend Serrishi followed the sturm-und-drang saga of the rebuilding process like a soap-opera devotee, and gave me a healthy measure of much needed encouragement and morale boosting at a time when it really counted.

Caffeine is a must! Thankfully I haven't picked up smoking. And I don't really like candy, so...

Nice picture. Is the Concorde box on the right the box from the one you have in your gallery? Or do you have another?

TomCatDriver In reply to Serrishi [2008-12-01 08:02:44 +0000 UTC]

OK,that,s an Entex issue from the 1970s of the 1/100 Nitto kit,the BIG one in my gallery is the 1/72 Airfix kit. thankfully you haven,t started smoking, and i hope earnestly you never do,a bad habit for sure, and very hell-expensive nowadays too.

Serrishi In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-12-01 12:19:57 +0000 UTC]

Well, my dad smokes and a lot of people at my (hopefully!) place of future employment smoke...and I have yet to pick up the habit. Expensive, yes! Both monetarily and health-wise.

TomCatDriver In reply to Serrishi [2008-12-01 14:53:34 +0000 UTC]

please promise the Old Cat you,ll never start.....

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Serrishi In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-12-01 22:27:20 +0000 UTC]

As I see it, I haven't started yet despite the negative influences, and I haven't got the money for such a habit! And I would like to do what I can to maintain my health.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TomCatDriver In reply to Serrishi [2008-12-02 07:03:13 +0000 UTC]

especially with asthma....! smoking would just aggravate that so bad,it would probably knock you for a loop.

Serrishi In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-12-02 13:40:38 +0000 UTC]

Exactly. And I'm already too broken for a 19 year-old as it is. (Foot problem, knee problems, wrist and hand problems).

sports-related?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Serrishi In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-12-04 13:45:50 +0000 UTC]

Most likely. I used to do ballet, so I think that that may be what caused the knee problems I occasionally have. And the foot problem is probably due to running. The hand/wrist thing is from doing colorguard in grade school and one year in high school and also from playing percussion.

Well, hopefully it won't get any worse. And apparently I might have Raynaud's...I'm a mess.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TomCatDriver In reply to Serrishi [2008-12-05 00:54:56 +0000 UTC]

are you quite sure it,s Raynauds?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Serrishi In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-12-05 01:00:24 +0000 UTC]

Well, I haven't been to a doctor about it yet, but I was telling my mom about come of the problems I've been having, and she said that it might be Raynauds. And my aunt has it, so from that and what I've told her I've been having problems with, that's what she figured it is. Soon I'm going to set up an appointment with my podiatrist to have it checked out.

If I have a chance tomorrow I will. And I do my best to keep warm when I'm outside, but despite how many pairs of sock I have on, if it's cold, my feet are cold.

i think you could use those little handwarmer packs, right? and the military{USAF} had a special sort of boot called Mukaluks for use in cold climates.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Serrishi In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-12-05 03:23:50 +0000 UTC]

I might be able to use the foot warmers, but the hand warmers might interfere with my driving. Any idea about the price range of the boots?
