My dad brought home a picture of this many years ago before they even began it paint the planes.(he works for delta) its awsome so see an actual one of these in real life ^^

probably at least a week of worktime,as well as paint curing time between several different colours. i,m sure it was done during a scheduled Heavy Check to avoid costly downtime on the plane.

It would be more efficient to paint it during a heavy check or something like that so the airline won't loose as much profit
