Actually, we probably won't. I saw a report about the business cycle and the guy showed a chart of the cycle over the last hundred years and the trend was to fewer and shorter downturns. This one probably won't last too long. I read an interview with Warren Buffet and he pointed out that there is cheap money to be had with the low interest rates. Given his track record, I put more stock (no pun intended) in what he says than what any of the economists (who spend all their time looking in the rearview mirror anyway) or the Wall Street weenies who shit their pants at the slightest sign of trouble.

You have to get rid of the money influence on the electoral process first. They seem to take one step forward and two steps back. There are some genuinely dedicated people but the slugs still outnumber them.

there,s a website called Just6Dollars,they want to have all elections publicly funded for qualified candidates,that would level the playing field,and get rid of the lobbies and special interests. very well worth 6 bucks a year from the taxpayers indeed!
