overall shot of the Old Cat,s USN Blue Angels history collection......standing next to the F/A-18 Hornet is a certain NROTC Midshipman we know who inspired the creation of it all. i swear,the damn crazy things i do sometimes....! oh,the co$t and time i went through to create all of this....................!!!!!!!!Related content

among others! Company logo,shoulder boards,Leather Wings,as well as 757{power by Rolls-Royce!},767 and The Almighty!{777}. and now for our Next Coming Attraction......the 787 DreamLiner! {and there was much rejoicing......yay....yay....yay.} i still want the SoniCruiser,confound it all!!!!!!

CO would just never go for it,i,m afraid. we should be getting the 787 in about 2-3 years,but sadly,the SoniCruiser was cancelled. it was a choice by Boeing of one project or the other,they just didn,t have enough capital to finance development of both,and Boeing,s Head Honchos decided that the 787 was the better business proposition.

a Boeing design for a very advanced transsonic airliner,with a canard layout,very similar to my Grumman CatLiner plane. our Company and CEO,Gordon Bethune were very interested in buying a fleet of them,they would have cut travel-time for most routes almost in half,and done so economically. [PROJECT CANCELLED] Bah,Humbug! i would have loved to have gotten qualified as a Captain on them too! @#$%&!@*X!!!!!!!!

not enough "cash in the kitty". it came down to a choice of the SoniCruiser or the 787 Dreamliner,as to which was to be chosen by Boeing management for development. just not enough financial assets to do both.

yep. depending on the airport,it,s about $1500 for a narrowbody,and over $3000 for a widebody,depending on the weight. and figure on about $1000 for an overnight{off-gates} ramp parking space for just a 737 alone!

most airlines have an account with the airport,s authorities,guys like me just run up the bill,and our management{Front Office} pays for it all!{OK,ultimately,it,s all paid for by our customers.......}

it kept me out of all kinds of trouble as a kid/teenager.......and did lead me on to a good career later. there was an episode once in our neighborhood when was 16 that finally got my dad off my case about modelling for good........had to do with Drug/Substance Abuse......

i turned out OK,compared to some others in my area. that one girl who OD,d that night just wasted herself pretty bad.{PCP,put her in the hospital} after that,nobody bothered me and my little airplanes anymore.......
