Jonah Hex + Wolverine

James Howlet was an officer in the RCMP. He quit to move to the mountains with his wife Mei Silverfox. A scientist named Cornelius Ivo knew that James' toughness would be perfect for an experiment in perfecting the perfect soldier. He sent men to attack and capture James, and in the process, Silverfox was killed. James was subjected to many experiments, including an alchemical fusion of his bones with promethium. The pain of the process revealed two things James had kept hidden from most. His healing ability, and his natural claws. James escaped in the night one time, but Ivo's men found him again. To prove Ivo's complete power over James, Ivo branded him with a demonic mark, scarring half his face. Even James' healing factor has yet to heal this wound. This was just a temporary setback, however, as James eventually escaped, driving his promethium claws through Ivo himself before he did. He has since meandered across the west, US and Canada going only by the name Jonah, making a living as a bounty hunter. However, to those that seek to find him and return him to Dept. H call him Weapon Hex.
