Sometimes trying to find the password or password hint for a download hosted on Bowlroll.net can be a major hurdle, but Chibi IA shows one way to resolve this connundrum. Works quite often, too. So we thought we'll share.And yes, Chibi IA has decided to use 'that word' again and somehow managed to squeeze it into this short presentation too.
UPDATE
Some people seem to have trouble narrowing down the search results. Try this method:
[ title of model (in Japanese) ] + [ bowlroll file number (5 digits) ]
So for example: bowlroll.net/file/57997
So using the format above this was the search term used: きの式ゆかり穏 + 57997
And it directed the results to this page: seiga.nicovideo.jp/seiga/im450…
(this was the 3rd result of the search result page)'
So using a refined search helps to get to the intended result a lot faster.
Another method is to use:
[ title of model (in Japanese) ] + [ screen name of modeler (from the Bowlroll page) ]
This method helps to narrow the search especially in instances where the model has a common name such as that of a popular anime character.

Key is on the page you referenced. Make sure you are viewing it in the original Japanese format and then you can just copy and paste it. It is a 4 character key.

Pretty hard to join a Nico community if you're not Japanese or don't speak the lingo. Plus many are just plain private; set up by friends. But many communities will have a presence on Nico, so you just have to search for their home page and see if they accept applications.
But if you see a low D/L number, as with this model, your chances of joining the community just to get the model is actually pretty slim. You can try, but don't hold your breath.

On password protected download pages there is usually a field to enter a required password. With zip packages that requires unlocking, usually there is a pop-up with a field to enter the password.

Yeah, it really isn't that hard once you know where to look; still heck of a lot of hurdles to have to overcome just to d/l a model which is why I seldom bother these days with password protected models.

If is alright to ask you a question? I am not going to ask for the password or even a hint for it or anything like that as I know it is against the rules and don't want make getting models even harder or have them take them down; but do you know if the passwords for these is specifically in Japanese (Kanji, hiragana or katakana)? I hope that is alright to ask that at least. I had a feeling this one of those VRChat or whatever situations which is why it is do difficult now for non-Japanese.
I been trying to get two models and the dl key was easy, it is unzipping the file that is password protected that is the problem.

The password should normally be on the download page, but sometimes it is in the readme.txt that comes with the download.

So I know you say not to ask for assistance finding passwords, but the thing is, I'm pretty sure I found the password to a model, and I entered it in as many variants as I could to no avail.
I was wondering if I could send you a note and maybe you could see what exactly i'm doing wrong, because unless the password hint changed I have no actual idea if it's just me or not. But I fully expect it to be just me.
Edit: I'm pretty sure the password hint changed due to certain people on Tumblr giving hints. smh.

I am having the same problem. It was easy to get the dl key for two models I wanted; but the files itself has an password that is really difficult for non-Japanese speakers and not allowed to get any help nor will they answer questions as that made that clear as part of the rules. It's so frustrating; but not much I can do about it. I don't know anything about the VRChat and all that drama since I am kind of new to MMD; but somebody always has to break the rules and ruin for the rest of us and we get the blame for it as well. :/
All you can do is keep trying to maybe if possible, find someone who can read Japanese fluently to help. Otherwise, you are pretty much out of luck unfortunately.

This type of question is fine, so no worries.
I was informed by a Japanese MMDer who is fairly active in their circles that many Japanese MMD content creators became really annoyed with their models being used in VRChat despite their wishes to the contrary. As a result some content were removed and password on others were changed to make them deliberately hard or impossible for non-Japanese speakers to resolve.
This may be the case in your example and if true you will need someone who can read/write Japanese to resolve the hint.

Yeah that makes sense, People need to learn when to stop, esp when it comes to VRChat. I looked at it once and kind of... didn't care for it, so.

You will need someone who can read/write Japanese to resolve this one. It is asking for the character's color scheme.

I sound stupid but what the hell does it mean about single-byte number two digits? I really need help ive been struggling for like 2 days trying to unlock a password because I'm keen on making a gift. idk if you can decode: "Password: Yoshikage + single-byte number two digits (age at the time of 4 parts Kira appeared after the Hiragana 4 characters" for me? itd be a pleasure

1. This is NOT a forum for password help.
Was there some part of "PLEASE DO NOT POST COMMENTS REQUESTING HELP ON SOLVING PASSWORDS" that you didn't understand?
2. The model is a PRIVATE community model and is not available to users outside that community.
3. In addition, SPECIFICALLY it is noted on the model display page- and this is written clearly in PLAIN ENGLISH (seiga.nicovideo.jp/seiga/im527… ): "This model is only for Japanese speaking …"
So congratulations!
You've failed on all three counts so, "NO", you can't have the model. And FYI, it look me less than 5 minutes to find all this information and type this.
