After numerous requests, I have decided to make a tutorial on how I paint my Nebulae. I did my best to include every part of my process. I'm sure the thing is riddled with spelling and grammar errors. Just ignore those, there's a reason I'm an artist and not a writer.I hope you all can learn something from this. It took quite sometime to get it done. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything, don't hestiate to ask me.
I've included my custom cloud smudge brush that I use in all my paintings

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU! I'm working on a fancomic set in a sci-fi universe, and I was not looking forward to having to recycle Hubble photos every time I got to a panel of space.

For sure by far the best tutorial I've seen about creating a nebula. In depth and easy to understand for those who have little knowledge!

Also, learning a bit about nebulas helps you paint realistic ones as well. Darker areas are generally opaque to starlight, like the 'head' part of the Horsehead nebula; whereas the coloured parts are generally lit by large stars that have just been formed, the stellar winds ionise the gases of the nebula.
You nebula paintings are very lovely.
