Lace pattern brush made in Illustrator CS4 saved as CS2 format. Includes original vector hand drawn trace and pattern and art brush samples and no this isn't a Live trace creation. It was hand traced and trimmed to create a seamless pattern brush.Warning: Large file.

Thanks I did that a long time ago from a photo of lace and just traced it by hand. I adjust it slightly to get the pattern to repeat seamlessly for the pattern brush.

It's an Adobe Illustrator Pattern brush. Just open the pdf in Illustrator and look at the brushes panel. This is not a Photoshop brush.

I have CS5 but I dont understand how downloading a PDF results in an editable vector file. what am I missing? also not an illustrator queen so maybe my knowledge base is outdated?

FYI: PDF is the native format of Illustrator.

Just open it in Illustrator and look at the brushes panel. You'll see 5 pattern brushes and 2 art brushes using the lace I drew. You can also see different examples of them on the art board. I've included the original vector drawing I used to create the brush.
