Here we have another pair of loose concept illustrations of Polemos architecture environment, both done in the short time spent at the laundry mat. As with the previous art board environment posting these are evoking quaint European villages with a looming industrial specter hanging over everything. The feel of these places will be inviting but often with a sense of dystopian industry. More of these to follow for sure. Once again the illustrations were done with colored pencils.

Also of note, 4 new concept thumb sheets of designs, FOILs, Sendai, props, etc are in scraps. I mention this as once again I wish to remind anyone following this gallery for the Theos project to make sure they have scraps turned on in their watch options for this gallery

EDIT: I decided to go in and add a light digital wash in Photoshop to pop the scenes out more. The original illustration was a bit on the light side due to my belting it out rather fast this morning so it didn't scan so well and I wasn't digging the look darkening the file or adjusting it any number of ways to bring out the lines. The wash was also just a quick apply but it helps add a little extra to the scenes. I expect I'll be mixing traditional and CG off an on on these quickies as I go
