Description
Edit: Now when you choose the color of you're background, you can choose from the pallete that appears upon clicking "choose" OR you can simply click the background of your image to select the color that you would like to be transparent. This is stated on the website when you click the option "transparent"----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: This tutorial may be misleading in the way the image is placed back into the tutorial. ONCE YOU HAVE CONVERTED AN IMAGE, YOU CANNOT EDIT IT IN PAINT ANY FURTHER, otherwise the transparency will be reset to a white/black background!
If you are trying to layer images in MS Paint, GO TO THIS TUTORIAL: fav.me/d7h30b3
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: Iaza is now known as Ezimba, so don't be confused when you type in Iaza.com and are taken to Ezimba.com! It's the same thing and this tutorial is still accurate to that website. Just remember to click "Transparent" rather than "Transparent+" so as not to cause confusion
LARGE PICTURE!!!
anywayy i was asked how i make transparent backgrounds in ms paint and so i decided it would be easiest to just make a tutorial for you all
i'll probably put it in my scraps later
also this is just the way i do it. I'm sure there are other ways of making a transparent background, but this is the method i use
hope it helps! let me know if you found this useful

Sweet, thanks for the info! If you have some animated space invaders for a coding class I'm doing, that would be great too! Otherwise, I'll follow your instructions on making my own. lol Thanks again!

Wonderful -- I needed 'crow flying' artwork but just the crow, for an office video -- this saved the day after struggling with Paint! Thanks so much and good luck to you!

after applying the transparent background, click "return to main index page" under the image.
At the index page, under the convert column all the way to the left, there are several options to convert the file to several different file types. I would recommend you convert all your pictures to .png

i suppose you could temporarily post it in your scraps and link me until i have it done for you...?
or if you have a tinypic/photobucket account you could post it there so i can reach it. that would work just as well
OR you might be able to email it to me idk if i'll be able to get it but we could try
your choice ^^

the problem you had was that the color you used for the background was not one of the color options on the menu when you select transparent. All i did was change the color of the background to the grey i used in the tutorial and then chose that color in the menu on iaza. In the future, i recommend that you use the same grey color that i used in the tutorial
i'll delete your picture off of tinypic when you reply c:
