Description
A world map for my Postbellum series. This is a map of the world in 2040, a full 15 years after the end of Third World War and 8 years after the end of the Second American Civil War. The current geopolitical atmosphere has begun to enter a period of uneasy peace after the lack of total victory for either side in WWIII. The United Nations has been officially dissolved, and protests rage over continued military occupation after the war, supposedly continued due to the damage caused by the conflict, but in actuality a matter of political posturing. The New World Order, while smaller in size than during the war, has begun to regain purpose as the German Union and its allies begin making plans to reassert themselves as the premier global powers. Elsewhere, the Damascus Pact has pledged the Neutrality of the Middle East and Central Asia, while the Latin Alliance has become a growing third player in the global sphere, especially as cracks form in the Alliance for Freedom itself, with the French creating a new nationalist faction and the Confederation of American Republics leading the so-called "Peace Coalition", advocating an end to hostilities and normalization of relations.Other works in the series:
