This is how i make planets. i found out a shortcut by doing Nameless-designers tutorial, and the outcome is about the same when ever i do it so... please comment, and +FAV if you think it helped you!the link to the plent site is [link] also, as mentioned by kakoraphobia, explore your self, and dont jsut follow the tut! try to find out some stuff by yourself! be creative, be your own Mentor!

Nice job, but I really dissagree with the shadow.
I suggest editing your post with the link to the think, so people dont have to type it, because most are lazy. As a second bit, its a nice tutorial overall. My second opinion is against the size. I think the best bet would to make something that is around 2000 by 2000 or more, so then you have a tremendous amount of detail, and all you do later is shrink it, making it keep that, and not become blurry.
Lastly, I must congradulate you on a job well done, since your first space scenes I was being nice, but really didn't like them. And within less than a week BAM, you have become really good at this. That is a massive improvement dude. Congradulations x1000.
Also, encourage people to explore themselves, and not just copy the tut exactly.
