Description
[link]My last eye painting tutorial is pretty old and I've been getting e-mails about adding more detail to it.
There's like, a billion eye painting tuts out there, but I just wrote one for Painter Magazine so I thought I'd post the steps.
No words! It's pretty self explanatory.
Done in Corel Painter X (using digital airbrush) with my trusty ol' Wacom Intuos2 tablet.
Same principles apply in Photoshop too.

This is a really helpful tutorial. While I'm pretty experienced with digital painting in PhotoShop, Corel Painter has always given me trouble.

I saw it some time ago in Painter Magazine, but I couldn't buy it then, so I'm glad you posted it here. Thanks.

Your tutorials are very helpful, thank you! I know there are a lot of eye tutorials out there, but I like your approach the best--it doesn't mess around with the layer styles or oppacities, which is nice.
I have a quick question: at what resolution do you usually do you pictures?
