The Power Legion's network of deep space satellites had detected the derelict alien space station as soon as it crossed into the solar system. Bijali Aurata was patrolling that sector so she was the closest person they had who could investigate. Her ability to soar through deep space without a suit, immunity to radiation, electrical powers and super strength were usually enough to see her through danger.
