Guess what I have been playing.A slightly banged up version of the ultimate weapon from Dead Space.
This is a mixture of the only concept art pic I found of the Infamous 211-V Plasma Cutter, and the final ingame model. I also built insides for the Cutter and that took most of the time.
Done with 3dsmax6 and Photoshop.
Please! No plot spoilers! I'm not finished with the game yet because it scares me

Usually don't comment or do anything at all on this website but, I just have to say this is so cool!
I love the plasma cutter, I would NEVER not use this weapon. I don't care much about upgrading my health, or some other gun..
All that matters is getting this beast to it's highest level.
Absolutely love this, I'm gonna set it to my desktop background picture so I can always be reminded of this great weapon.
Very well done too, looks just like it should. The blood and used look to it... I would have it no other way

The Plasma cutter is indeed the most epic weapon in a very long time.
I had this as my desktop background at work, and it mostly caused disgust in people.. But then again, they were all "grownups"

You did a very good job 
The DoF is done in 3ds with Finalrenders super neat camera settings. The weapon saw so much action in my use that it couldn't have stayed clean and smooth
