Description
In 75000 BC, the war between the Isu slavers and the humans and Assassins had finally come to an end, but at horrible means. Despite the endless efforts of the Isu scientists, Minerva, Juno, and Jupiter, to prevent a massive solar flare from hitt Earth, the disaster was still unavoidable. The flare hit the planet, and Armageddon rained down. The Earth cracked, the skies blackened, the oceans burned. And by the end of this disaster, dubbed the Toba Catastrophe by later generations, both humans and Isu had been bottlenecked. Only a few thousand humans survived… and far, far fewer Isu. The two species realized that they had to put aside their differences and work in harmony in order to rebuild, and so they did. Peace spawned from disaster.
The survivors used the Assassin's Creed as their guide for running the world. Freedom, equality, responsibility, and brotherhood became the basis of this new society. And from it, true world peace had finally formed. Unfortunately, it was relatively short-lived. Amongst the survivors was Eve and Adam, the first Assassins. After the Catastrophe, they had two sons named Cain and Abel. Both were raised as Assassins and taught to play their part in rebuilding. Cain, however, had an arrogance in him that filled him with something dark.
When they were teenagers, their parents had assigned Abel to guard Eve's Apple of Eden and make sure that no living soul ever used it's evil powers of control. Cain, out of arrogance and impatience for the speed of the rebuilding process, killed Abel and took his Apple. The device branded him with a mark, and made him a bullseye. His parents were forced to banish him from the Brotherhood, and the Assassins began hunting him down. While on the run, Cain corrupted dozens of people into his cause, and together they formed their own order: the Templars. While the Assassins fought to obtain order through freedom, the Templars sought to gain it through oppression. And the two orders began a clash that continues to this day.
The rebuilding process carried on, but due to Cain’s greed-driven actions, the survivors now had to deal with a new threat. Now someone new was trying to enslave humanity, and while the Assassins fought the Templars off whenever they could, conflicts would constantly break loose that halted progress. It eventually got to a point where rebuilding stopped, and most humans and Isus resorted to just forming bands of scavenging survivors, the most famous of which was called Ithaca, led by the Assassin, Odysseus, who would soon have a much bigger role to play...
