amazing work absolutely amazing the tincturing is spot on and so is the lighting, by the way i cont suppose that you could tell me the technique that you used for the wrap iv tried multiple different things but i can never get cloth wraps to look right if you could give me some advice that would be great

i have no trouble telling u about the uv wraping..but as u can see on the strings (it isnt that good 
about the cloth.. the uv is the most simple- just top uv projecting.. then i did the cloth dynemics.. so no issues there.. kinda crap though

thanks.. i am no master.. just alot of hard work on the materials/lighting basicly..
..i dont have time to make tutorial anytime soon, but i can give u few tips- Extreme high rez. HDRi for reflection... high render samples for good bumps...mmm.. and tunning materials until they look and work good with each other

Yo this is absolutly amazing, i cant honestly believe the realism. I was started doing something like this a while back but it was a shorter sword more like a wakizashi on cinema 4D but i just couldnt get the realism... anyway i completely love this, the detail and precise perfection makes this beyond realistic im thinking about trying to finish that wakizashi now i just love martial arts and swords 'n' that i suppose it'll never be as good as yours but its worth a try... fav from me aswell.
