no prob!
i got 6 so far, and in 1 week i got 2 more. my unltimate dream is to get a custom katana made from nirahimi (i dont know if u spelt that right), a famous katana forger who lives in the mountains of japan 
my favorite ones i have is custom tenza zangetsu (from bleach) and a plain bokutoh, its really beautiful.

niiice collection... i wish to build a fake blade from my design (it doesnt need to work.. although would be nice to use right steel- just thought this design might look cool) ... maybe ill do few more 3d ones

amazing blade. i thought it was real for a second. then i see its done on computer. i love the dark red sheath and hilt. the guard is pretty awesome too.

I was POSITIVE this was real, and ready to offer you every penny I had for it. It actually made me sad when I realized it wasn't real. ::Cries::
However, as a good friend of many people in animation and game art and design, I can usually tell a 3d model really quick. This had me fooled. It's AMAZING.

Great use of bump mapping and the scene is so well lit, it does look like a photo. I wish I was a little more advanced on the subject so I could give you a more meaningful critique but I'm not there yet. All that's left to say is that I'm inspired.

had to use extreme high samples to get the bump on the blade physically correct (was really pain not to fake it..but worth it), actually all the reflection are scattered by bumps (like in real life)
your 3d is on the right way so keep doing stuff and never stop challenge yourself, it takes time - but each time a little less

Holy shit! Nice modelling and some awesome texture and material work there, like really...
The lighting and render setup is also really good.
Only things that stands out are the skinwrapping of the handle: not clearly as high detail as the rest of texturing so it stand out a bit, though viewed from a bit farther distance the issue diappears, and the really heavily tiled leather on the scabbard. Maybe some kind of light dirtmap on top of it or something to give a bit variation to the surface... That's all i can think of right now.

...oops, i had few things to say,
to bad many of the issues u mentioned was already fixed in the newer render (but in a totally crap scene)
so this work was finally pushed a side after getting an unpredictable daily deviation
truly appreciated m8, looking forward to see more of your work
