Description
You might have to open this in a new tab to see it all.....This is my version of a Spriting Tutorial.
Please enjoy and I hope it helps people.
This took sooooo long to make... (That's why I've only been posting recycled stuff
But it's done now.
I don't own Pikachu, Rapidash, or Emboar, but EVERY other thing in this tutorial was made by me 100%.
If you see this tutorial on any other website not under my name, please bring it to my attention, and I'll take care of it.
Please comment and favorite as this took a very long time.
Enjoy!

I only use ASEprite for animation. I own a mac so all of my shortcuts use cmd, ASEprite still uses ctrl for its shortcuts, so needless to say it gets frustrating at times for me. :b
At the time this was made, I used paint for sprites. I use Photoshop now. :b

Just thought I'd point something out~ I believe (don't quote me on this, it may have changed between gens. Last time I checked this was Gen III. ) the official amount of hues an official sprite can have is 16. This includes outlines, highlights, shadows, base colors, fire, etc. That is why some Pokemon, such as Emboar, have less detailed fire. (I don't follow this rule personally, but I just wanted to point it out.)

What's strange though is that older pokemon in the new gens still have poorly sprited fire. Even the 3d models for emboar's fire are poorly done.
Some gen 1 - 4 pokemon are very colorful, so it can't even be the limite amount of colors that can be used on a single sprite.
It really makes me curious.

Huh. :I It could also just be the style for those specific Pokemon. Each Gen has somewhat of its own style. Gen I's fire is more detailed (eg. Ponyta, Rapidash, Moltres) than Gen V's (eg. Emboar, Litwick's line). *shrug*

...
I'll never be able to make sprites like that...
Even if I practice...
I'm just not patient enough...

Everything else takes too long to load on my computer
