Description Here it is, as promised.

Yes, I have a tablet. Yes, this should work with any version of Photoshop even though I used 7. Yes, I did it totally on the computer, but you can scan a sketch/ink and apply the same methods.

I think that covers everything...but probably not.

I have a question on your tutorial, and you may have already wrote this already. um..what Oppacity did you use for normal coloring and shading?

I think the tutorial is really well made: good explanations, some nice techniques - but I had trouble with the shading part (which interested me the most). Often I'm unsure where to start / end the shading and how to form it.
I guess you have to have a stronger sense for art than I do ...

Biyabo In reply to ??? [2005-12-13 05:59:57 +0000 UTC]

I apologise, this is not really related to the tutorial, but could you basically explain the benefits of a tablet? Should I look for one for my computer (which runs Windows :\ ), are there even windows compatible tablets? I'm part of a blossoming doujin group and I'm supposed to be the geek, but as a poor geek who just splurged his money on a full photoshop, I couldn't get a tablet...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

celesse In reply to Biyabo [2005-12-13 06:14:03 +0000 UTC]

The benefits are pretty much that you can draw more easily on the computer. And yes, of course, Wacom tablets are compatible with Windows. I use Windows too.
