Quickie tutorial, mostly because I was bored and still have my dad's digital camera. plus, you get to see my thought process for traditional inking. it's suprisingly (hugely) different from any digital technique i've ever used/tried.but anywho.

i once used a red color pencil and makde a rough sketch, and then traced it with a simple gel pen
and got it on ps and colored it. it wasent good but it was great thani thought it would be..
this tutorial seems promising though

I would've never thought to use the thicker Sharpie in combination with the fineline

personally I don't like sharpies for inking...cuz they do tend to bleed through the paper and they also tend to fade out from the line as well...
I recently got some Staedler Pigment Liner Pen which I find work a lot better, cuz I can get some quick light lines on the paper...but it depends on how well you use the materials of course...
