Description
Since so many people have been asking me how to put clothes on models, I decided to make a tutorial. This is my first tutorial, so it might not explain everything clearly. Please, if you have questions, comment below and I will do my best to answer them.Oh and one more thing, I forgot to mention to right-click on the selected layer and the click on Ctrl+P/Ctrl+S

Can someone help me i'm still a beginner at MMD or PMD editor and when i try to fit clothing on my models when i need to add layers i can't click Ctrl+s can someone tell me why? this has been giving me a a lot of trouble. I would really appreciate it

I have a pair of shorts I want on my model but if I follow your steps, it just comes out looking like the left (our perspective) leg of the model you shown, but far worse. What do you recommend?

Well if the shorts do not show skin,it add should be fine. But I recommend centering the pants on the model before trying to delete unnecessary parts.

It doesn't, it's just that the "leg holes" for the pants are too small for the legs, but the rest of the shorts fit the body with a little bit of resizing.

hey i have a question im trying to make a human sonic verion of me and i got a MMD sonic outfit because i though it would be very cool on my model but then everytime i try to load it on my model the outfit is all white so how do i fix the outfit so it wont be white when i put it on my model?

Well you could rename the textures in PMD/PMX editor and apply them to the outfit.

I have a question! I have a uniform one of my models are wearing and I want my other model to wear the same thing. How do I go and do this?

Delete the parts from the first model until you have only the uniform. Then you save the uniform by itself and put it on the other model.

On the main window, click F and go down to S.

Oh already got it. XD But when I uploaded it. The uniform was all white. I don't know how to move it or get it's color back.

You have to make sure the clothing textures are in the same folder as the other model.

Alright. The one (and hopefully last) problem I have is the uniform is to big (like tall) so when I try to move the uniform sometimes the models hair gets stuck. Do I have to open it on a separate "layer"?

Well...sometimes it does that for me too. What I do is just try again because sometimes my computer doesn't want to move the file.
