Description Since so many people have been asking me how to put clothes on models, I decided to make a tutorial. This is my first tutorial, so it might not explain everything clearly. Please, if you have questions, comment below and I will do my best to answer them.

Oh and one more thing, I forgot to mention to right-click on the selected layer and the click on Ctrl+P/Ctrl+S

I want to put a skirt on a base but it is too big...How can i resize it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chocosunday In reply to f-lorui [2012-05-14 16:03:55 +0000 UTC]

Select the layer, click and drag the cursor to highlight it, then use the arrows to downsize it.

ohhh...tnx a lot and one more question: i put the base in PMD and then skirt but the skirt is white...why?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chocosunday In reply to f-lorui [2012-05-14 16:20:59 +0000 UTC]

It's because the skirt's texture and the skirt are not in the same folder as the base. Like I said in the tutorial, make sure all of the parts and textures you plan to use are in the same folder as the base.

Um where do you have trouble?

pffto-owhatthehell In reply to chocosunday [2012-05-13 03:15:46 +0000 UTC]

Well I'm not quite sure yet xD
I got a base and a full outfit.
One the base is much bigger than the outfit but even when I tried your method nothing disappeared :/

chocosunday In reply to pffto-owhatthehell [2012-05-13 03:17:50 +0000 UTC]

Well sometimes, PMDe won't create a new layer when you try to make one, I normally just reload PMDe when this doesn't work. Also, resizing the clothes helps too. All you have to do it select the clothes layer and click and drag the cursor over it and then use the arrows to resize it.

I don't know if you can help or not, but in the PMD whenever I try to add hair to a base it doesn't show up or when I try to delete hair from a base it doesn't erase D:

Oh yeah...that one's not that good. You need the newer one. The SlimDX version or the PMX editor one.

Alrighty~
I was wondering (you've been a big help so far so it's okay if you can't~ D: ) about saving the models in a way that they don't break apart when using them in MMD.
(I made one and the pants completely disconnected from the body >< )

It doesn't work on my PMD Editor.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chocosunday In reply to DrPepperFan1000 [2012-05-05 22:24:44 +0000 UTC]

Depends on which one you have. And sometimes it doesn't work but it mostly works on the newer versions of PMDe.

chocosunday In reply to Nebu257 [2012-05-04 22:02:12 +0000 UTC]

Hm...I've tried it before, but only thing I can say is to try to adjust the arms of the shirt to the model.

namae-no-nai-uta [2012-05-04 13:18:24 +0000 UTC]

....or you can adjust the shirt to fit over the body... that generally works too.

Yeah but alot of the time, the clothes look weird if you do that.
