The Thunderbird 2 that Never was, taken from a sketch Derek Meddings did in the 90s to try and show his thought process in designing TB2. Again made for the TV21 con but reused in my Concept video www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyziV8β¦

Apparently TB2 was developed from an abandoned military transport aircraft. So this could be what the original craft would have looked like.

Some of Dereks old designs exist. Most of the time he seemed pretty much set to build what he designed. Tb2 is one of the few instances he seemed to have decided to rework.
