Words Below:
Foster was a teenage boy who lived in a small town in Canada next to a lake. Every winter the lake would freeze. The town had a legend about a young girl with mysterious ice powers. For several years she would go around doing good deeds for people. Then one day while trying to rescue somebody, she fell through the ice never to be seen again.
Foster never believed the entire legend but he did think parts of it were true. The ice could be dangerous, especially when the lake was part ice and part water. It was easy for people to fall through the ice and they would definitely need rescuing.
Most of the time Foster did not even think about the legend until one day when the circumstances lined up just right for him to get some sort of confirmation. It was spring low tide at a time when the days were getting colder. Foster was walking by the shore when he noticed something metallic gleaming in the water. He went over to investigate and discovered it was some sort of sword.
Foster picked up the sword and held it in the air as if he knew something would happen. He did not know something would happen but something did happen. His entire body transformed. His hair turned white and grew all the way down to the ground. Then it formed itself into a ponytail.
His face became soft and smooth. It looked like the face of a teen girl model. This was quickly followed by his arms and legs as all body hair disappeared. His clothes turned into a skating dress leaving his arms, legs, and shoulders clearly visible. His shoes turned into a pair of ice skates.
Foster became thinner as he gained feminine curves and his breasts increased in size. He felt a tingling in his body as it became fully female. The sensations in his, or her, body continued as she gained mysterious ice powers. Only vaguely aware of what she was doing, she froze a small part of the lake. She went over to the ice to take a closer look at what she had done.
Looking at her, reflection in the ice she could see she had taken on the appearance of the girl in the legend. Life was going to be very different for her. After testing out her powers for several hours, she finally figured out how to change back. He could change back and forth at will. Foster had become a superhero who could change gender.
As winter came and the lake froze, first partially and then completely, Foster spent her time skating on the lake rescuing anyone who needed it. With her powers the lake froze anywhere she skated. She never fell down even when she jumped. Her secret identity was also quite safe. No one even remotely suspected she was actually a teenage boy.
People thought the girl of legend was back. One thing still worried Foster. The girl of legend eventually fell through the ice. Although nothing like that had happened, she thought it was only a matter of time.
On a cold and windy day when the lake was partially frozen, Foster was in his normal male form searching for signs of trouble. Suddenly he heard a scream for help. A little girl was trapped on a chunk of ice headed for the center of the lake. If he did not act quickly, the little girl would become lost and most likely drown.
"I'll save you!" screamed the girl with mysterious ice powers.
Foster skated towards the chunk of ice as fast as she could go. The ice barely had enough time to freeze. This was not something she was thinking about. She had to reach the little girl in time. Skating as fast as she could on thin ice, she reached the little girl and held out her hand to her. This caused her to lose her balance.
During the split second Foster had, she tried to regain her balance but it was no use. She slipped and fell ... and landed on a thick block of ice below her. It seemed she was able to freeze the water right where she was going to fall. She had dodged a bullet. One made of water and ice.
Foster grabbed the little girl and skated slowly as she carried her back to shore. By the time they reached the shore, a crowd had gathered to watch them. When she put the little girl down safely on the shore, they all applauded. It felt good to be appreciated. However, superheroes and crowds do not mix so she skated away. They would probably meet again one day.
