On the surface, it appeared to be just another show. The main characters were a mother, a father, and two sisters. Friends and neighbors would come to visit occasionally but it focused mainly on the family. Agent Chloe White played the older sister. Her character went through the regular ups and downs just about any teenager would have.

Below the surface, complicated plans were being made by both sides. The Agents of Freedom, who controlled most of the production, were inviting clients of the Junebug Talent Agency as guest stars. They wanted to free as many of them as possible, but each person they freed increased the risk of being detected.

Little did they know, Double Agent Magenta Smith had already learned about what they were doing. This led to the Junebug Talent Agency facing the same dilemma. Each client they sent would probably be freed, but if they stopped sending people the Agents of Freedom would know they had been discovered.

Instead of sending their best clients, the Junebug Talent Agency selected their second tier clients. These were the ones they really did not want to keep anyway. All of them were kept away from any important information. Along with them came Tanya, formerly Troy, one of the clients who had already been rescued, supposedly.

Tanya had been given false memories and she told the Agents of Freedom things even she did not know were false. Chloe spent much time with her. The two of them talked about many things like their childhood, their families, and their careers in show business. Chloe had no idea that her memories were false.

Chloe reported what she had learned to Commander Jake Black and he sent some agents to investigate. They found some falsified records from a different talent agency, but it was not the sort of thing they were created to handle. For the Junebug Talent Agency, the false lead did more than just disable one of their rivals. It gave them more time to get new clients unopposed.

Eventually the false lead was traced back to Tanya. They realized she had intentionally been given false memories. They would have to be more careful with future leads to make sure it did not lead them into a trap. Although they attempted to restore Tanya's memories, her mind had been thoroughly wiped. The best they could do was remove the false memories leaving only a few months worth of memories behind.

Tanya knew very little about the person she had been before or during her time with the Junebug Talent Agency. She did not even know whether or not Tanya was her actual birth name. Chloe did her best to comfort her. She told her they could give her a regular role on the show as one of their neighbors. That way they could make sure she was well protected.

Chloe was disappointed with her performance, not as an actress but as a spy. She had been unable to detect false memories even after talking to Tanya for hours. She told herself a failed attempt was better than no attempt at all, but it offered little comfort. Someone else would fall into the hands of the Junebug Talent Agency because they had been distracted.
