Oh yea, true. But I feel most people are honest. But it is the few that makes us feel insecure and have to do extra measures. You know how I like to hover things to see their effects.

But I don't. I have seen people (some of them my online friends and watchers) stealing my codes. So, I have to take safety measures.
And I know Live Views are nice but can't help it.

And the funniest part is that they first steal the code and then manipulate it by mainly changing the design and then come to me to show how it looks. Can you believe that!?? 
Seriously, it is really hard. Hence, I emphasis on everyone who codes skins not to give the slightest hint on how one code misuse them. Because it impacts us ALL.

I think they don't get code jacking as theft. They see it as just the same codes everyone uses. But that is like calling poetry and books not intellectual property because they use the same words as everyone else. How they are arranged and everything is the intellectual part. The codes (other than using a generator, but someone had to write the generator) are all done by someone's hard work. Swapping out images is not satisfactory. The layout and codework is all copyright
