Unfortunately this project would never be published on paper because of copyrights of DreamWorks and Ms. Cressida Cowell. It would be published once per 3 months so soon you will see another page and in December there will be a first page about Night Furies. I'm a patient guy so year after year I'll be building-up this project, cause it a great challenge for me and it makes me a huge satisfaction.

A question: how did you do that with the skeleton? because I like to creat a skeleton to this species: deviant-art-angles.deviantart.…
How did you do that with the idear of the skeleton?

When I work with some anatomical drawings I always make use of anatomical drawings of some real animals: mostly crocodiles and saurischian dinosaurs. At firs I try to find how each part of skeleton work; legs, paws, and of course, the most difficult element of dragon's anatomy, a double shoulder. Then I looking for some examples from real animals anatomy, similar to dragon's - paws from dog, head from crocodile, pelvis from some theropoda dinosaur, just like some elements of chest and shoulder structures. Of course I change them to fitt them to my dragon anatomy but if you look carefuly you will see that the baby Night Fury skull looks very similar to crocodile's skull. And I still remember that on this bones will be some muscles, joints have to be correctly movable and inside skeleton must be enough place for internal organs. So, it's very dificult thing to draw a good dragon's skeletom; I'm still working on first, realistic, Night Fury's skeleton scheme and it will take a few months to finish it. It's a great challenge; as for you as for me. Inskarlarians dragons are really beautiful creatures; it is a wonderful idea to "create" their's skeleton. I hope you will make it as beautiful as your other arts about dragons. If I can help you in this, just ask! I hope that I have already helped you somehow.

I have an OC (night fury, female) with a scientific description already set up for it, and I really love science, so I could help you with that! Not to mention I love doing anatomical drawings like you mentioned above. Please, let me help you with this, I wanna do it so bad!

I'm so glad that you like my project. And I want to thank you for all kinds of help. being honest, I need some help - I'm looking for information about dragons from all world; classic myths, books about dragons, dragons form comics and movies, not only form HTTYD universe. I see that you are from USA so you can look for some info about dragons in native Americans myths and of course from present fiction. Could you? I would be very thankful for this help, cause at 4th page I want to show a full, complete dragons species Cladistic and Linnaean classification. And I have seen your drawings. They are quite good... especially hero drawings, Spider-man and Arrow. Hmm. You know: lets try to surprise me and tries to make some classic NF drawing which will "persuade" me that you have to be a contributor of Dragonera project. You have talent so I'm sure that it's an only a formality. Don't hurry. i'm patient - and next Dragonera page will be set in September, so...

Awesome! Thanks! You came to the right guy, I just happen to love history and legends! The Piasa, a giant bird-like dragon, was said to feed off of the peoples of many tribes. It was harmless once upon a time, but became accustomed to the taste of human blood after feeding on the corpses left by war with the white man. No one could run away from it, no arrow could find its heart. One day, Cheif Ouatoga of the Cahokia tribe declared war on the bird after his tribe was raided. He took the best of his braves and traveled by night to the cave of the Piasa, and stationed his men outside the mouth. Chief Ouatoga, torch in his hand, entered the cave and aroused the monster. Angering Piasa with his fire, Ouatoga ran, luring the beast out of the cave, and as the creature pounced on him, the cheif's warriors killed the dragon with poisoned arrows. From then on, the Piasa bird symbol marked the territory of the Cahokia tribe, and few men dared to violate it...
Of course, origins of this legend are still being debated, but it's pretty cool, right?
Today I'll get to work on that sketch, and I won't let you down!

Podziwiam za chęci do tworzenia ale przede wszystkim do gromadzenia informacji i opisywania tego wszystkiego. Mam nadzieję, że wytrwasz do samego końca z tym projektem
Ciekawi mnie jak będą wyglądać poszczególne opisy smoków, będziesz mieścił tekst w kilku stronach a potem będziesz przechodził do następnego smoka czy podzielisz to jakoś na rozdziały? (mam na myśli; jeden rozdział równa się jeden albo kilka smoków)
Po za tym ile stron planujesz tak mniej więcej zrobić? Pytam na razie tylko o to ale uwierz jak tylko zobaczyłam tą stronę od razu setki pytań mi przez myśli przeleciały.

Oj tam... oj tam...
Jakby co, kolejna stron po wakacjach. Mam nadzieję, że nie braknie mi cierpliwości, bo tej tutaj potrzeba będzie najwięcej. Ciężko jest coś takiego ogarnąć w pojedynkę - to największy problem. Ilustracje, teksty, przekopywanie internetu... A człowiek nie tylko to ma na głowie, więc robota ślimaczy się straszliwie. Mnie jednak się nie spieszy; cierpliwość palcem dół wykopie. Co do wyglądy projektu to jest od dwudzielny, jak juz wspomniałem; na przemian będę publikował strony o tematyce ogólno dragonologiczej oraz strony o tematyce związanej szczegółowo z Nocnymi Furiami. Ogólnodragonologiczne raczej nie będą roztrząsać każdego gatunku smoka z osobna; to by było szaleństwo - w życiu bym się nie wyrobił; w samym uniwersum HTTYD są 34 opisane gatunki a łącznie jest ich około 50! Myslę o tematach w stylu: podstawowe wiadomości o smokach, ich klasyfikacja, ewolucja, zachowanie, smoki a historia ludzi, smoki w sztuce. Takie bardziej ogólne tematy. Z Nocnymi furiami to będzie nieco inaczej; strona o szkielecie, o mięsniach, o kolejnych układach organizmu. mam nadzieję stworzyć coś na kaształt "Projektu NOVA" autorstwa :iconcaptaincuttelfish: ale bardziej profesjonalnie i na serio. Dla tego mi nie spieszno z kolejnymi stronami; to takie hobby na lata

Nawet jeśli ludzie wyrosną, zawsze znajdą się nowi którzy będą Ci wiernie towarzyszyć. Chociaż.... nie twierdzisz chyba, że z takich rzeczy można tak po prostu wyrosnąć? Wiadomo, że zależy od osoby ale tu na deviantcie raczej nie spodziewam się, że wiele porzuci taki temat
Zresztą HTTYD robili dorośli, nie mają się czego wstydzić
Fajnie będzie tak liczyć lata i Twoje strony pojawiające się na deviancie xD
Spodziewałam się w zasadzie takiego ogólniejszego opisu ale musiałam zapytać. To za co się zabierasz i tak wydaje się niemalże nie do wykonania w pojedynkę (a przynajmniej z mojej perspektywy, ale ja to mam słomiany zapał po prostu). Może znajdziesz kogoś do obróbki tekstu albo chociaż poszukiwania informacji? Zawsze to jakaś pomoc. Na przykład ustaliłbyś informacje które trzebaby Ci podesłać i gotowe. Całkiem możliwe, że łatwiej mi powiedzieć niż Tobie zrobić ale takie wspólne zbieranie tekstów... kto wie.
Ah, jeszcze jedno szalone pytanko. Wiem, że to raczej bardzo odległy temat; ale kiedy już byś skończył, planowałbyś jakoś to sprzedać?

In the encyclopedic part I will put a complete list of dragons species from few most wonderful fantastic universes - it will include most of described dragons from HTTYD universe and almost all mythical dragons from many cultures and countries. Anatomical Atlas will include only info about Night Furies biology and behavior.
